Society Day

Daniel,  Just a quick note to thank you and your staff for a great day yesterday.  This was the first time we had visited since 2006 and given the service we recieved, it won't be that long before we return.  I thought the course was in excellent condition given the poor weather since the turn of the year and the food and service from the catering staff was second to non.

Everybody enjoyed the whole experience and for that I thank you as being Society Secretary you are always up for scrutiny.

90th Birthday Party

Just wanted to let you knwo how much everyone enjoyed themselves on Sunday and to thank everyone there for everything they did.

The waitresses were so accomodating and helpful, especially when the birthday boy felt unwell between the starter and main course (he was fine shortly after!) and with the littlies who needed to let off steam after the meal.  A lot of our guests said how much they had enjoyed the food too.

Wedding Breakfast

From start to finish Daniel and the staff at Bourn went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and help us reaslise the wedding of our dreams.  As soon as we received the information pack we were reassured that we had found the people who wanted to help us make everything go as smoothly as possible and that continued throughout the run up to our actual wedding - no matter what questions we had, big or small, we recieved a quick reply and great service.

When we went for our wedding tasting to choose the food we wanted we were blown away by the variety and standard, with portions that will satisfy even the heartiest of appetites.  Along with the range of evening options Bourn's food blew the competition out of the water and the prices which seemed unbelievably good before tasting seemed incredible and unbeatable afterwards.  The meal on the day was praised by everyone of our guests, including those who are chefs.  We have been to the lunch for lunch on numerous occasions in the run up to our wedding and always had the most fabulous food.

Finally the wedding week arrived and the marquee brought tears to my eyes.  Every member of staff we mey seemed genuinely excited by our upcoming big day and went out of their way to help and ensure it was as perfect as we imagined.  And on the day itself I cannot think of anything better or anywhere I would rather have had my wedding.

Bourn made every one of our dreams come true and provided us with the wedding we dreamed of and more.  I cannot praise them highly enought.  Our guests left having had a magical day, just as magical as we had, and certainly thinking we had spent a fortune to realise such a wonderful occasion because of the service and attention we recieved.

I would recommend the venue to everyone and feel certain that Bourn would meet their expectations.

GWCT Quiz Night

Wedding Reception

Bourn Golf Club was a fansastic reception place, the staff were amazing and catered for everyone who attended our wedding.

The place look amazing, the food was the best iv'e ever had.  Everyone who came said it was amazing food as well.

The staff made the day go smoothly and the service was brilliant.  Being able to go around the course to have our photos taken in some beautiful places was amazing.  It was a lovely place to have our wedding reception I don't think we could have got a better place for the staff, atmosphere and photos.

We want to thank you for all you and your team did to make the 80thy birthday celebration last Saturday so enjoyable for everyone.

Hi Daniel,

Just wanted to say a big thanks for all your help from start to finish, in making oour day truly memorable.  The amount of comments we had regarding the food as outstanding was unbelievable and also how you went out of your way for a vegitarian option which I forgot about.  The marquee was amazing along with the bar area, everything was perfect.  The photo shoot in the golf buggies will stay with us a lifetime.  We have recieved a large quantity of thank you cards from our guests saying what a remarkable wedding day it was, and as for the children they did not want to go home, when they finally did so they said "it was the best wedding they had ever been too".

Plastic Surgery Conference and Exhibition

We held an all-day conference for 60 delegates at Bourn Golf and Leisure in June 2012.  The process of organising it and the day itself were an absolute pleasure. Dan and his team have an easy-going manner that belies the absolute efficiency with which they ran the day. The food was delicious  and the environment is  beautiful. The conference room is smart without being overly formal, as is the dining area in which lunch and the trade exhibitors were based. The surrounding golf-course makes for a stunning backdrop and an excellent way to end the day. We will be back and I have no hesitation in recommending the venue.

Local Company Retired employees get together

We have just had a committee meeting and I was urged to let you know how much all of our group had enjoyed the meal with you last Friday.  I had picked up many complimentary comments at the time, concerning the venue, the food, etc – just a very nice place for a lunch.  We were looking at an outline programme for 2012 this morning and the possibility of repeating the Bourn Golf lunch is certainly one of the options.  So I may be in touch again later next year!
