The
Par 3 Academy Course
Would you like a warm-up before your round or do you have a particular approach shot you need to practice? The Academy Course is a 9-hole, par 3 course ideal for doing this. At 946yds off the yellow tees the course is perfect for the beginner right through to the single-figure handicapper. There is a choice of three tee positions per hole allowing it to fall in line with the official BAPP regulations Bunkers and a stream and 2 water hazards bring a lot of interest to the course. In 2007 the President of the British Pitch and Putt Association chose to hold her President's, day at Bourn which is a good accolade and shows what the course has to offer despite being new. The course is open to golfers of all standards from the absolute beginner upwards and makes ideal family entertainment.
Putting Greens
We have two large putting greens, adjoining the clubhouses. The putting greens match the respective courses in terms of maturity and playing conditions, allowing a valuable warm-up prior to your round
The Driving Range
Open throughout the year with the choice of 2 covered, 4 artificial or grass teeing areas. There are target zones and flags which combine to make it a popular facility. To the right of the range there is a practice bunker allowing those all too tricky shots to be practiced. Range balls are available from the Pro Shop either by the tube at £1.00 or baskets at £2.00.
Tuition
All the best players in the world have tuition on a regular basis. Golf lessons not only tell you what is going wrong with your game, but encourage you to play to your strengths and ability in order to lower your scores and your handicap. Golf Buggies
During dry months, normally late-March through early-November, we operate a fleet of buggies for hire to relieve the strain (booking advisable).
Pull trolleys are also available for hire, these are suitable for use all year round.
