Caravan & Campsite

We now only accept families and couples looking for a quiet site.

We are a Camping & Caravan certified site.  This is a Certificated Site (CS). A small campsite. Some of these CS’s accept tents, space permitting. CSs are often quieter, smaller places to camp, with many offering minimal facilities – ideal for when you want to get away from it all.

Having said that, we do offer more facilities than most Certified sites.

3 years ago it was just an area of grass where you could pitch your tent, or set your caravan on.  Since then, we have added electrics and a small toilet block.  There are now also two fields.  The first offers electrical hook-ups and hard standing.  There is a natural pond where ducks and moorhens can be seen.  The second is a very large field with a flat area at the top to set up your base  The rest slopes away gently, giving ample space for ball games etc.  If you need even more space, we have another large field behind this.

Set in an unspoilt location in the Cambridgeshire countryside, and located only 8 miles from the historic University city of Cambridge, with easy access from the M11 or A14, there is an abundance of things to do near the site or local area.

If you are here just to relax and unwind, there are numerous walks to choose from, with some starting straight from the site and others a short distance away.

For the more adventurous: On-site there is an 18-Hole Par 72 Golf Course, 9-Hole Pitch and Putt Course, Health & Fitness Centre including Indoor Pool (childen are only able to use the pool in the splash sessions Saturday and Sunday, please call for more details), Steam Room and Sauna and an Aerobics Studio with a wide variety of classes to choose from.

Take a break in the day and join us in the Clubhouse, where you can sink into one of the sofas for a coffee and cake. Or why not have a bite of lunch in the conservatory, on the patio or balcony overlooking the course and lake. During the summer months the restaurant is open in the evenings Wednesdays and Fridays.
